COOKmate (formerly My CookBook) is a recipe manager that allows you to store and organize all your favorite recipes in one place. With search and import features, it offers a convenient way to build your own digital cookbook.
Searching for a new recipe? COOKmate provides a powerful search engine to find recipes on the web. Once you find one you like, you can easily import it into COOKmate and access it on your phone or tablet. You have the flexibility to add your own photos, make ingredient substitutions, modify directions, and leave personal comments.
If you already have a cookbook, you can manually add new recipes to COOKmate, scan recipes from your favorite books and magazines, or import your digital cookbook using supported file formats like Meal Master (.mmf), MasterCook (.mxp), LivingCookBook (.fdx), ReKconv (.rk), and more.
COOKmate also offers convenient sharing options. You can invite friends to join COOKmate, share your recipes with them, and view their recipes. Additionally, you can share your recipes on various platforms such as Facebook, email, SMS, and more. You even have the option to send them a "COOKmate" file that can be loaded into their app.
In addition to these features, COOKmate includes other useful functionalities like creating shopping lists using recipe ingredients, synchronizing recipes across devices using Dropbox, scaling ingredients for different serving sizes, using the speech feature to read recipes, customizing the app's theme and font size, and accessing recipes on Wear OS watches.
COOKmate is not only available on mobile devices but also on desktop at https://www.cookmate.online. It can also be accessed through voice assistants such as OK Google and Alexa.
To enjoy additional features, you can create a free account on COOKmate Online. This allows you to save up to 60 recipes and 1 shopping list in the cloud, synchronize them across all your Android applications and online account, access and manage them on any device, scan recipes from books and magazines, invite friends to view your recipes, plan meals and generate weekly shopping lists, cook with Alexa and OK Google, and create recipes with ChatGPT.
For even more benefits, you can upgrade to a Premium account on COOKmate Online, which ensures that all your recipes and shopping lists are saved in the cloud.
